Four practices.
One studio.

We don't separate "consulting" from "building." Every engagement involves both — a few weeks of careful thinking, then deliberate construction.

/01

Architecture & Development

From blueprint to production. We design the system end-to-end — data flows, queues, failure modes, the right stack for your shape — then build it: backend APIs, web and mobile frontends, cloud or on-metal infrastructure. Deliberate from the first diagram to the last deploy.

/02

Private Infrastructure

We run our own servers in the Philippines. That means your data stays local, your workloads don't answer to a hyperscaler's pricing changes, and privacy is architecture — not a checkbox. We design and operate self-hosted, hybrid, and on-premise setups built to last.

Training & Mentoring

Software no one understands is expensive shelf art. We document everything, run walkthroughs, mentor engineers and teams directly, and bring it to the room when needed — workshops, public talks, and the sessions that help people grow alongside the systems they use.

OH Apps

Products built from Filipino ground up — open to the world. We design and ship SaaS tools, mobile apps, and web platforms that understand local realities: PH infrastructure, local payment methods, the problems people here actually deal with. Made for Filipinos. Ready for anyone.

/03 Studio

Obra is the craft. Haus is the workshop.

We are a small studio applying both to software systems. Every project gets the same treatment as a piece of architecture: surveyed, drawn, structured, finished, inhabited.

Manifesto / abridged

Every system we leave behind should feel like a building: deliberate, structural, made to be lived in for years — not quarters.

How we work
  • Small by choice.
A handful of long-term clients. Never more than we can hold in our heads.
  • Human by method.
Machines build fast. We build for people. Every interface, every flow, every word on screen is shaped around the human who'll use it — not the model that generated it.
  • Long by intent.
We stay with what we build — operating, training, refactoring — for years, not sprints.
  • Private by design.
Privacy isn't a feature you bolt on after the building is finished. We wire it into the foundation: local servers in the Philippines, minimal vendor exposure, and systems designed so your users' data only goes where it needs to go.

The Founder
Aldrick BonaobraSolutions Architect & Software Developer

Eight years designing and operating systems — from payment infrastructure to SaaS platforms, from architecture diagrams to production deployments. He still writes the code, mentors teams, and takes the stage at workshops and events. He founded ObraHaus on a single conviction: software should be deliberate, private, and built to last. Every engagement reflects that.

The first house
and the next.

We build slowly and stay long. Grouped by what it is, here is what is currently inhabited, the platform under it all, what is on the drafting table, and what we have kept open for the next collaborator.

FileForge
fileforge.obrahaus.com · 2026

A self-hosted file converter for images, audio, video, documents, and archives. Sandboxed Docker workers on dedicated Proxmox metal — sharp, ffmpeg, LibreOffice, 7z — no tracking, no third-party SaaS in the conversion path. Designed, built, and operated end-to-end by ObraHaus.

Rezume
AI résumé builder · 2026

An AI résumé builder for Filipino jobseekers on OnlineJobs.ph. It turns a messy — or non-existent — CV into one clean, ATS-ready master résumé: a guided, Taglish-friendly intake, reviewable AI rewrites that never fabricate, and a 0–100 readiness score. The master résumé the rest of our jobseeker tools build on.

Job Atlas
AI job-match assistant · 2026

An AI job matcher and application assistant for OnlineJobs.ph. It surfaces legitimate roles with a scam-risk score, match-scores each against your résumé, and drafts tailored applications for you to review and send — never auto-submitting. Built on the master résumé from Rezume.
